The Tafea Health Care Association Inc. strives to control diseases endemic to Tanna island, such as yaws, a condition arising from poor nutrition and overcrowding. Nits is quite widespread and needs continual treatment. Due to the tropical climate on Tanna, open wounds if not treated early can turn septic, while scalds, burns and lacerations become ulcerated. By donating you can help us purchase vital medicines and equipment to treat affected patients and prevent further outbreaks of disease through structured care and immunisation programs.

We provide acute care treatment

Without our Clinic's care and regular treatment, this burns victim may have lost an arm or even his life. Now this patient is well on the road to recovery.
